Cancellations, No-Shows & Penalties
-
Each pays 10% of their wager to platform; 90% refunded each. $10 each: each loses $1, gets $9; platform $2 total.
-
Can i cancel before anyone accepts?
Yes. 0% penalty, full stake refund, no violation. -
60s grace to reconnect. Up to 2 counted disconnections per match; exceeding is treated like a forfeit/rage-quit path.
-
Does cancel-after-accept use the match 10% service fee?
No. It’s a penalty split (10/5/85), not the completed-match pot fee. -
Is there a temp ban for repeat offenders?
Policy/help text: up to 24h challenge ban while wallet remains usable. CS should know enforcement is admin/system-dependent — if a user can still create challenges, escalate to admin rather than inventing a ban. -
No-show forfeits 100% of their wager. Of that forfeit: 75% → waiting player, 25% → platform. Waiting player also gets their own stake back. $10: waiting player gets $7.50 + $10 = $17.50; platform $2.50; no-show $0.
-
Forfeit 100% of your wager to the opponent; platform cut 0%. Opponent also gets their stake back. Applies whether you were winning, tied, or losing — match must be finished for a valid win.
-
After 3 violations (cancel-after-accept, noshow, ragequit, non-report, disconnect excess, etc.), further penalties can add +25% of wager to the opponent share (e.g. cancel opponent share 10% → 35%). Platform % unchanged on that surcharge.
-
What if I cancel after the opponent accepts? (three-way split)
Of your wager: 10% → opponent, 5% → platform, 85% → you (refund). Opponent gets their full stake back + the 10%. $10: you lose $1.50 total; get $8.50; opponent ends with $11.00. Violation recorded. -
If both agree to cancel: full refund both, $0 to platform, no violations.
